The Co-Founders
Launch Into Learning was co-founded by Karla Barcus and Rebecca Bush, two experienced educators who share a passion for helping students thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Together, they bring decades of experience in executive functioning, literacy, specialized academic support, and educational leadership, united by the belief that meaningful relationships and personalized support create lasting success.
Their complementary backgrounds inspired a collaborative approach that goes beyond traditional tutoring—combining executive functioning coaching, dyslexia intervention, and specialized academic support to meet each student where they are. At Launch Into Learning, every learner receives individualized guidance designed to build confidence, strengthen essential skills, and foster the independence needed for lifelong success.
Karla Barcus
Karla Barcus is the co-founder of Launch Into Learning and founder of Kscholastic. With more than 15 years of experience supporting Houston students and families, she is passionate about helping learners build confidence through personalized educational support and meaningful relationships.
Rebecca Bush
MA, MEd, CALT, LDT
Rebecca Bush is the co-founder of Launch Into Learning and founder of Literacy Lead Changes. A nationally recognized literacy specialist, Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), author, and speaker, she has spent nearly 20 years helping students with dyslexia and other learning differences develop the skills and confidence to thrive.
